EnerMatters Advisory is a growing consultancy supporting energy and data center projects across the United States. We work with leading developers, investors, and operators to navigate complex stakeholder environments and deliver projects that are both commercially successful and community-aligned.

We are seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Founder & CEO. This role is ideal for someone with business experience who is excited to take on a mix of traditional assistant responsibilities and broader business support functions.

Role Overview
This position blends executive support with light business operations. The right candidate is highly organized, reliable, and comfortable working independently while staying closely aligned with leadership priorities. There is opportunity over time to grow into a more substantive business support role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage calendar, scheduling, and meeting coordination

  • Take notes and track follow-ups from meetings

  • Organize files, documents, and internal materials

  • Support invoicing and basic business administration

  • Assist with preparation and formatting of client deliverables

  • Handle business-related errands (shipping, printing, coordination tasks)

  • Maintain systems to keep workstreams organized and on track

Working Style

  • Weekly in-person meeting to align on priorities

  • Independent, remote work throughout the week

  • High level of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an administrative, operations, or business support role

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through reliably

  • Clear, professional communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

  • Ambitious and proactive, with a willingness to handle both strategic and fundamental tasks

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to or interest in the energy or infrastructure sectors

  • Interest in growing into a broader business support or operations role over time

Details

  • Part-time to start (approximately 5-20 hours per week)

  • Compensation dependent upon experience
